He holds multiple patents on solubility-enhancing co-crystals of herbal actives like embelin and forskolin. With 50+ publications and leadership of funded projects on nutraceutical innovations, he combines traditional plant science with modern drug design. His expertise spans chromatographic isolation, crystallography, and formulation development for bioactive herbs
Dr. Anil Kumar Kruthiventi
Professor of Practice, Center for Drug Design, CUTM
Dr. K. Anil Kumar is a seasoned researcher with over 30 years of experience across academia and industry. His expertise spans preventive healthcare, nutraceuticals, solid-state formulations (cocrystals), agri-formulations, and nano-biotechnology. With a strong foundation in natural product chemistry, biocatalysis, and green chemistry, he has authored three internationally recognized texts, published over 60 papers, and holds 23 patents.
Dr. Kumar has led R&D initiatives at Dr. Reddy’s Institute of Life Sciences (DRILS) and Tata Chemicals Ltd., where he was instrumental in launching two new business verticals: Prebiotics (FOS) and Nano Silica. He currently advises healthcare and agri-tech companies and actively collaborates with universities to translate academic research into marketable solutions. He also serves as Professor of Practice at Centurion University (CUTM), Odisha.
